BREAKING:
The San Diego Mesa College men's water polo team dominated Southwestern College 22 to 7 to advance to the conference championship match.

Freshman Kyle Fox set the tone with six goals. Barret Satre added three goals and an assist, while Santiago Gonzalez contributed three goals, four assists, two steals, and a block. Dylan Barahura was perfect, scoring three goals on three shots and adding two steals. Trevor Kula matched the effort with three goals of his own and four assists.

Goalkeepers Riser Lundeberg and Matias Valkama anchored the defense, each playing two quarters. Lundeberg finished with five saves on nine shots, and Valkama collected seven saves on ten.

The Olympians will battle Grossmont College on Saturday, November 8 for the conference title.
