Women's Soccer Eager and Ready for 2024 Campaign

Last season, the San Diego Mesa College women’s soccer team placed fourth in the conference with a 9-7-3 record. As we approach the season opener, there’s optimism about improving on last year's finish.

Head coach Melissa Warner mentions that the team is creating a culture that will lead to positive results. "We have worked hard during preseason, focusing on defining who we are as a team and exactly what our team culture will be. We are excited that the fall season is here."

Despite the departure of several players due to graduation, the team has brought in talent capable of replacing those who have left.

The team's competitiveness will set them apart in a very tough conference. Moreover, Warner adds the team's goal of securing a final-four finish. "We are going to work hard to achieve that podium finish," Warner adds. It all begins with culture, and if we stick together as a team and show up for each other, the sky is the limit to what we can achieve. We are fired up."
