The San Diego Mesa College women's basketball team secured a decisive 63-45 victory over the Cuesta College Cougars in the first round of the 3C2A SoCal Regional Playoffs.

Three Olympians achieved double-digit scoring. Christina Bowen led the charge with 15 points and 4 assists. Kendal Alloway contributed 14 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals. Alethze Marquez added 10 points, grabbed a team-high 13 rebounds, and made 4 steals. The Olympians dominated the Cougars from the first to the last whistle, and at one point pushed the lead to a 20-point advantage. 

The Olympians advance to the next round and will travel to face #4 Glendale College (23-4) on Saturday, March 1st, at 7:00 p.m.
