San Diego Mesa College Softball is proud to announce that sophomores Braelyn Hill and Chloe Wilson have signed their commitments to continue both their academic and athletic careers.
Braelyn Hill, a standout dual-sport athlete in water polo and softball, is a graduate of Eastlake High School in Chula Vista and holds a 4.0 GPA. She has committed to Augustana University, a Division III school in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
This season, Hill appeared in 40 games for the Olympians, had a .433 batting average with 4 home runs, 29 RBIs, 41 runs scored, and 4 stolen bases. She was named to the PCAC First Team All-Conference and earned honors as the team MVP and Offensive Player of the Year. Hill also rewrote her name in Mesa’s record books, setting new marks for highest batting average, most doubles, and most times hit by pitch.
Chloe Wilson, holds a 3.8 GPA, transferred to Mesa from San Diego Christian College. She has committed to play for Chapman University, a Division III program in Orange, California. Wilson played in 40 games this season, recording a .320 batting average with 5 home runs, 23 RBIs, and 12 runs scored. She was named to the PCAC Second Team All-Conference and now sits atop Mesa’s all-time home run leaderboard.
Head Coach Jaclyn Guidi praised both athletes as among the best to come through the program. “They’ve set the standard through hard work, commitment, and character. Never missing a practice or giving less than 100%. They’ve shown what it means to lead not just with words, but with actions. They are strong, resilient, and inspiring women who make us proud every single day.”
