Sophomores Myah Gomez and Jaiden Mojica have etched their names into the San Diego Mesa Beach Volleyball history books as one of the top tandems to ever represent the Olympians. 

The duo, holding down the #1 slot, were the driving force behind the team's success, which includes the 2025 3C2A State title. After hoisting the team trophy, the duo was back on the sand and finished third in the state after falling to the eventual state champions, Anna Legaspi and Nicole Lankin of Santa Monica College. 

The pair faced a grueling schedule, especially after the team tournament. They competed in their ninth dual in three days, which includes battling the heat throughout the week. 

"I can't say enough about this pair,' head coach Kim Lester shared in an Instagram post. "It has been my honor to coach these two amazing, young women! They gave it everything they had and never gave up. I am so proud of you both and thank you for being such a joy to coach."
