2012 Season Outlook

With a large incoming class of freshman players and only 1 returning sophomore this season will undoubtably be one with growing pains as the Mesa women's water polo team tries to defend the conference championship they won last year. Last years win was the 8th championship in the past 12 years and continues a trend of seeing major improvements over the course of the season. Kaitlyn McGee will provide the leadership as a returning first team All-Conference player. Local freshman who should have an impact include center-forward Nayli Davila (Mission Bay), drivers Monica Longworth (Pt Loma), Victoria Kilburg (Scripps Ranch) and Kapili Pasa (Mar Vista). Staci Kimari (West Hills) will take over in the cage.
