Women's Soccer: Olympian Women are Pac-Coast South Conference Champions

With an 11-0 win over Imperial Valley College Tuesday November 8, 2016, the Olympian women secured first place in the Pac-Coast South Conference. A strong season closer Friday against Southwestern College, 2-1, confirmed the lady Olympians dominating season.

With the title, Mesa has secured a leading advantage into the Southern California Regional Playoffs. The conference championship is the 4th consecutive for the Olympians and Head Coach Todd Curran, in addition to the 16 consecutive appearances in the SoCal Regional Playoffs.

"Winning our division for the fourth consecutive year is an amazing accomplishment and I am very proud of the hard work and effort that our players have put into every season. The consistency through the years is a testament to every player dedicating themselves to be the very best, day in and day out," states the 19 year Olympian Head Coach Todd Curran.

Friday's victory improved Mesa's record to 16-2-2 overall while the Olympians closed the PCAC SouthDivision play with an unbeaten 9-0-1 mark. Mesa will open playoffs November 19.
