Lady Olympians Make 14th Regional Appearance

November 18, 2014 - Since 2000, the Women's Soccer team has been a regular competitor in the Southern California Regional Tournament and 2014 marks the team's 14th appearance.  This year's team will be squaring off with Foothill Conference member, Chaffey College on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at 2:00pm. 

The Olympians have been top notch in the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference with an undefeated 8-0 record giving them their 7th PCAC crown and 2nd straight title.  They amassed 11 wins overall this season while only losing four matches and tying another four.  Mesa enters the SoCal Regional tournament as the #17 seed which places them on the road for their single-elimination game against the 3rd place Panthers. 

Heading into the tournament, Mesa has scored a total of 43 goals while only allowing 16 goals during the course of a 19 game season.  The Olympians have averaged 3.7 shots per game while Chaffey is only averaging 2.6.
