Men's Water Polo Earns #1 PCAC Tourny Seed

Freshman Devin O'Donnell (pictured Photo Credit: Josh Aquino) scored the first goal, and tallied 4 more as Mesa never trailed in their regular season finale. The 19-10 win put Mesa in the drivers seat for the PCAC tournament November 6-7 at Ned Baumer/Miramar College Pool. With a +1 goal differential on Palomar, the men will face the winner of the 4/5 seeded game on Friday, November 6th at 2:30pm at Miramar. If successful, they will play for the Championship Saturday, November 7th at 1pm at Miramar.

Mesa held a 5 goal lead at half, then ran a 5-0 third quarter to put the game away. Marco Roy had 4 goals. Bryan Bare and Jesse Reiling turned in stellar Sophomore recognition day performances adding 3 a piece. Sophomore Chyene Merrill dished off 4 and added 2 buckets, and Sophomore Alex Raineri played great defense as well as adding an assist and earned exclusion.

The win puts Mesa at 11 straight victories, an 18-5 overall record, and 7-1 in conference.
