Men's Water Polo Beats Grossmont Early, Win 16-9

The Olympian defense came out early and was stifling for nearly 13 minutes of scoreless game time while opening a 6-0 lead with 4:30 left in the 2nd quarter. Ryan Boyd held Grossmont's best players to a single goal in three quarters, and Cameron Woldt had 7 saves in a game that was controlled from start to finish. Marco Roy had a season high 9 goals and Bryan Bare added 4. The win sets up a battle for the regular season PCAC lead as 5-0 Palomar visits 4-1 Mesa this Wednesday at 3:30pm.
