Mesa Tennis Courts Being Resurfaced Thanks to the Greater San Diego City Tennis Council

Mesa College thanks in large part to the Greater San Diego City Tennis Council (GSDCTC) will have their public tennis courts resurfaced on June 2. It will take roughly two-and-a-half weeks but they will be ready for the summer session. "We are eternally grateful to the GSDCTC for their commitment to the great game of tennis and their contribution for this project," said Olympian Head Coach Michael Hootner. Mesa will be able to better accomodate USTA Junior events, tournaments, family day, clinics, and other things to promote the sport.

The courts will be blue on blue. We welcome the public to use our courts any time they are not being used by our classes, athletic teams or during USTA events free of charge. If you'd like to make a donation, please contact Head Coach, Michael Hootner at, 619.316.4747, or by emailing him at, coachhootner@gmail.com.
