Chris Boudreau was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, but he relocated to San Diego, CA, after graduating from high school. Being a former San Diego Mesa College Olympian, he played basketball under Ed Helscher while also graduating with his Associate of Arts degree. He then transferred to Coe College in Cedar Rapids, IA, and graduated with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Physical Education. Once Chris returned to San Diego, he continued to further his education at National University. It was there where he attained his Master of Arts degree in Performance Psychology.
Chris’s first experience with coaching began with the One on One basketball program in San Diego, CA. He got the opportunity to work with children, teaching them about the game of basketball and building positive attitudes towards sportsmanship. Ed Helscher invited Chris to join his coaching staff once he had successfully attained his B.A. degree, and he didn’t hesitate on the offer. He has been affiliated with Mesa basketball ever since. This will be his third year as an assistant coach at San Diego Mesa College.
Chris Boudreau is a current resident of San Diego. He is currently employed by the City of San Diego in the park and rec department.
