Athletic Training:

The Athletic Training Program cares for 21 athletic teams, men’s and women’s, with 6 - 8 Athletic Training Students and two fulltime Certified Athletic Trainers.

Athletic Training Room hours are 11am–7pm daily. Times are subject to change depending on seasons.

Affiliated site for San Diego State University:

San Diego Mesa is an affiliated site for the San Diego State University Athletic Training Education Program. Approximately 30-35 students are accepted into the program each year.

Other affiliated sites include University of San Diego, Grossmont College, Cuyamaca College, San Diego City College, Southwestern College, University California San Diego, Cathedral Catholic High School and Rancho Bernardo High School.

The application period for the SDSU Athletic Training Program is in February each year.

Independent Study:

SD Mesa College Students with an interest in Athletic Training may be able to acquire Athletic Training experience in the athletic training room if spots are available. Openings in this area will vary each semester.

  • ·GPA. 2.75 or greater
